Launched in 2004, islandbrides.com was developed by the founders of Thyme Online Ltd, a web development company in The Bahamas. The site came about after our own experiences organizing and arranging a wedding in the Caribbean, when we realized there was a hole in the internet covering this area.
With our expertise in web design and web development, our in depth knowledge of the Caribbean region, and our own experiences in planning a wedding, we set about to create a truly authoritative guide to planning a beach wedding or destination wedding in the region.
Our work soon paid off, and islandbrides.com has become a truly unique and highly valued resource for brides and grooms, receiving thousands of visits a day. As we continue to expand the site and add new features, we hope to provide even more value for those visitors.
