Application and Documents
- Couple must present valid passport and ongoing plane ticket
- Notarized Birth Certificates
- Notarized Decree Absolute if one or both parties are divorced, and
- In the case of a widow/widower a Notarized Death Certificate of first spouse
- Couple must be a resident of St. Vincent and the Grenadines for a minimum of 1 day, not including the day of arrival, before applying for a marriage license. The license is obtained through the office of the Solicitor General in St. Vincent, which is open Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Couple needs to travel to the island of St. Vincent to apply for the marriage license (the trip takes about 2-3 hours) and present application to be married in person and revenue stamp for approval from the Ministry of Justice or from the Registrar
- Marriage ceremony must be performed by an official marriage officer, priest, or minister registered in St. Vincent.
- The couple needs to nominate two witnesses for the ceremony

Marriage License: US$185 obtainable 24 hours before the wedding from Ministry of Justice, or US$7.50 obtainable 7 days before the wedding from the Registry license

US $1.84 stamps for application form
