Riu Punta Cana

I heard that Riu weddings in Punta Cana were beautiful, my fiance and I are planning our at the Riu Punta Cana. Both of us have never travelled aboard - so this is really exciting for us.

I looked at this resort. It looks so beautiful. I was told by my travel agent that all of the RIU's are farely new. Which is good. Nothing will be run down looking. And since it is your first time in the caribbean, that you have nothing to compare it to, and no reason to feel let down. You should also look at some of the websites that give reviews from recent travelers, to see what other people have thought. But I too am looking at that resort. When is your wedding?

When is your wedding? When just found a place in Costa Rica called the Paridisus Playa Conchal that might be even more up our alley. There is so much to do and is a 5 star resort with little bungalos.
We just started using the website www.traveladvisor.com to look at the reviews for these resorts. Some people also post pictures. It is really helping us make our decisions. I think it's always good to hear the negative reveiws also. Some of them help so that you save your money by avoiding certain upgrades or tours that are just money traps. You should check it out.
