Wedding in Belize

Hi everyone,

I will be getting married in San Pedro, Ambergris Caye, Belize in October 2007. I had difficulty choosing where to stay but everyone seemed to direct me to Victoria House or Ramons Village. We decided Victoria House over Ramons Village primarily because of their beautiful setting which is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. However, I decided I needed a wedding coordinator. San Pedro has many, but after many emails I decided to use the services of www.idoinbelize.com. I was very happy with their services and their quick email responses. Their fees were less than many I had contacted (approx 750.00-800.00 USD) and includes:
All Administration, Government taxes and Handling fees, Marriage License Fee, Ministerís Fee, Registration of Marriage, Certifified Marriage Certificate Government of Belize, Tropical Flower Bouquet & boutonniere.

I feel it is not expensive compared to other wedding planners in the island. We are working on other preparations which include flower decorations. I want everything white, so we are getting Casa Blanca Lilies, white roses, White Carnations, and of course, white orchids. We worked on a budget of $3,000.00 USD to decorate beach and alter 10 table arrangements.

The Victoria House will be catering and I cannot wait to get married now.
Belize is a very beautiful country and Ambergris Caye is absolutely the perfect setting for my wedding.
