Hi,

Congrats on your engagement! As an owner of a destination wedding company hopefully I can give you some information from our clients and my own travels.

We have been working with the Rose Hall on weddings for years. Actually we are a preferred company with them having gone through their ownership as the Wyndham Resorts. But in all honesty I have to be fair to say that we took them off our preferred list the past 7 months due to their construction. We had gotten some complaints regarding it, so we have not had a wedding there lately. By the time April 2009 rolls around it will be a brand new resort with all of the updates.

One great feature about their weddings is everything can be created to match your wishes like a local wedding. The only item I would demand is having Tia as the florist. They do a wonderful job. The last wedding I had in the Rose Hall area was at the Iberostar resort October & November 2007. They did a wonderful job as always with all of the extra flowers each bridal couple order. In the past we could only get them to come in at places like the Ritz but now that they have expanded their wedding business, ask for them!

Another feature is that you can bring in outside photographers to do your wedding. Our company has two photographers that we use for weddings in Jamaica where we can bring in someone. Because I do not have permission to publish their names in a public forum, just drop me an email I will send you their websites. You can then look around there to see what style you like.

I would love to give you pictures of weddings that we have had there however I know the gazebo many used is being remodel.

I hope this information helps! Best wishes on your special day!

Take Care,
Lindsay
