Hi everyone,
I am getting married in Cozumel in November! Yay!! We are doing the cruise thing. I have talked to almost every wedding planner in Cozumel and really was not that impressed with the prices for what I was actually getting. Therefore, I decided to pursue a venue myself. I am looking at Paradise Beach, and that is going really smooth!

We have approximately 70 people going! Shocked We had NO idea so many people would want to go! We are going to do our own (very few) decorations. My problem is a sound system. We don't have one! Paradise Beach doesn't have one, and we don't know where or how to get one. Any suggestions? Any other advice? THANKS!

Miracle Very Happy

Go to www.cozumelinsider.com for a directory that may be of help....or post a question on www.travelnotes.cc on the cozumel page. You will definately find a way there.

Good Luck!

I'm getting married in Cozumel in November as well and absolutely love the island.

I've been to Cozumel several times, and while I don't have specific wedding-related suggestions, here are my faves:

Pancho's Backyard - an amazing restaurant. it's beautiful inside and the food is delicious. Also, it's connected to a cute little store that has some great merchandise.

Aldora Divers - scuba diving. Request Bill LaRosa, if you can - he's semi-retired, but one of the most unique characters I've ever met.

skip the Tequila factory - not really worth the time and $$

hire a cab & tour the Atlantic-side of the island - some interesting places & great hammocks to lounge in. Very rustic.

Have a great time!!
