Seriously. I'm clueless when it comes to this stuff. Never had time to really vacation and I want this wedding to be everything I've never gotten to experience. I'm so looking forward to it! Do you any of you have suggestions on the perfect island to have a wedding on?

SIDENOTE =)

I was searching through bridal sites and blogs and came across the cutest one I ever seen: youmaynowkisstheblog (clever huh.) It totally made me laugh. Really cute animations. So if you have any suggestions on an island, let me know, and let me know what you thought of this girl Kate's blog.

Thanks!

Judy

Hi,
My hubby and I recently got married at Sandals Antigua.
I have to say it's the best island I've ever been too. We had an amazing trip/vacation and wedding. We couldn't have asked for more. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

My sister was looking into many island options and in the end went with the US Virgin Islands instead and was very happy that she did. The requirements to get married are very simple - send in two forms at least 8 days before your wedding to the court house. No residency requirments. As this is US territory it is very straightforward. She used islandweddingservices.com for her arrangements - they are a group of freelance ministers and photographers - not wedding coordinators - so the prices are very reasonable. She got a minister for $200 and a photographer for $250 (she ended up with ownership of the photos). It was easy, it was affordable, and the best wedding I ever went to.

Also no passport requirements!
