Hi All
We are looking for a beach wedding with roughly 20 - 25 guests. I would like beautiful white sands & blue sea but also I want somewhere that has bars nearby so that my guests stay entertained and we can either party all together or go our separate ways for 1 or 2 nights!!
Id like a 4* / 5* hotel for me & my fiancee to stay and some cheaper hotels close by for or guests to stay in.
The destinations we have been looking at are Maldives, Mauritius, Bali, Mexico, carribean, barbados so basically the whole world
Im sick to death of searching through website after website
I would appreciate it if people could send me some locations that they know are good or even some they have heard are good.
Many Thanks in advance

Sounds like you have some great ideas! There are some beautiful beaches out there, with amazing backdrops. I just returned from a wedding I organized in Tulum, Mexico which was very similar to what you're looking at. The bride and groom stayed in the one luxury hotel on the beach, with some family members - whilst guests stayed in some very funky beach huts. The beach and sunset were both perfect! There are lots of beaches I would recommend:
Turks and Caicos
Roatan, Honduras
Conrad, Maldives (and you can get married underwater here!!)

Hi All,
My name is Michelle, I´m planning my wedding in Cancun on Septemeber 19th, my fiance is from Germany so it will be great to get married in Mexico for all our guests.
I just came back from a site inspection and let me tell you that my wedding planner is doing a great job over there.
She is mexican but has done several weddings for americans, we will get married in a private house right on the beach, this property is awesome, and she has given us plenty of ideas fom decoration to invitations, everything, I feel very relax with her. She organized my cousin´s wedding in Cabo and it was great.
If you dont want to have surprises when you get there, I will really reccommend you to hire a weddings planner. |

Hi Adam and Sam,
Most wedding locations in the caribbean offer only the beach and water related activities...Belize, on the other hand has tropical islands AND the rainforest....water activities AND ancient ruins exploration.
Belize is an ideal destination wedding location for many reasons.
TOP TEN REASONS:
1. Foreigners can get legally married in Belize and your marriage is recognized internationally. All you need to do is be in Belize for a few days before your wedding date.
2. You can get married in a church or on the beach or on a boat or anywhere! Location is not limited to certain approved locations...you can get married practically anywhere in Belize you want.
3. Belize has a chain of around 100 islands. Caye Caulker is the second largest island and is by far the most affordable. Caye Caulker is a tiny tropical island that has developed into a colourful beachside community. An ideal location for your wedding.
4. Accommodations range from Boutique hotels to rustic Cabanas. On Caye Caulker, you and your guests can select from prices ranging from US$20 per night to US$120 per night.
5. Fresh Seafood! Caye Caulker was once a fishing village and there are still fisherman that supply the local restaurants with Lobster, Stone Crab and fish. You cannot find seafood fresher anywhere in the world...i guarantee it.
6. Day Trips - Snorkeling on the Barrier Reef (only 3 minutes by boat from Caye Caulker), Snorkeling with Stingrays and Nurse Sharks (no teeth!), Sunset Sailing tours, Mayan Ruins exploration, Cave Tubing, Rainforest Zipline, even ATV tours! There are tours and adventures suited to everyone in your wedding party!
7. Golf Carts, Bikes and Sandy Streets! There are no vehicles on Caye Caulker...just Golf Carts and Bikes! Your wedding party can walk everywhere...the island is only 1 mile by 4 miiles. Bikes rent for cheap!
8. Best Restaurant in Belize - Caye Caulker has the best restaurant in Belize according to almost every travel book.
9. English speaking - While many people do speak many languages, if most of your wedding party is english speaking, then being in an english speaking country can make it easier for your guests to feel more comfortable and independant.
10. Safe and Beautiful - Caye Caulker has an extremely low crime rate and Caye Caulker is beautiful!

Hope that helps

| If you are at all considering the Caribbean, I've been told that Vieques, Puerto Rico is simple breathtaking. The beaches are basically untouched and make for amazing photos. There is a small but excellent bar scene and tons of kayaking and snorkeling...it's even in 1,000 places to go before you die. You should check weddingsinvieques.com |

The vision of a perfect beach wedding is so dreamy and romantic. It's especially appealing during a recession because these types of weddings are much cheaper than the traditional rent a church type.
Mother Nature looks great in the movies and on tv, but unless you are an outdoors type, it can be a rude awakening to meet the real Mother Nature. Things to keep in mind when planning a beach weddings.
The beaches of Florida offer a perfect backdrop for outdoor weddings. The coast of Florida is characterized by white sand, bright blue water, and well-manicured parks with palm trees and grass. Florida beach weddings can take place at one of the all inclusive Florida resorts or an secluded location on the beach. There are many companies that offer beach wedding packages in Florida, in destinations such as Key West, South Beach, and Venice Beach. Beach wedding packages in Florida will include most of the details that go into planning beach weddings in Florida, from the transportation to Florida to the honeymoon following the wedding. |
