Here are my immediate issues that must be settled before moving on towards details. I have a March wedding in mind - we want to be wed on the beach, and I have curly hair. Where can I be safe from hurricanes and crazy humidity, but still be warm enough to wear a sleevelss dress standing on a beach?

typically march is going to be a good month for a beach wedding here. lower chances of rain, decent temps and usually not to humid. of course the closer to the end of the month the more all of your chances of heat, rain and humidity go up.

Good News...you are NOT getting married during Hurricane season!

Hurricane Season is June 15 to Nov 15 with the most action usually happening in August, September and October.

You will not have a hurricane in March!

Also...spring time in the Caribbean is one of the driest times of the year...the rainy season starts in the summer and ends in November!

While your curly hair will definitely get more curly in the humidity...you might want to work with a hair style that will enhance your pretty hair...not fight it!

I currently live on a little island in the Caribbean...Caye Caulker, Belize.
There are weddings on our island all the time...and every bride i have seen is beautiful! White dress...suntan...and a huge smile. Absolutely gorgous!

Not sure if you have decided on a location ....but have a look at Caye Caulker.... www.gocayecaulker.net has some good photos of weddings...Hotel rooms here range from US$20 to US$120 a night...and wedding receptions are cheap! There is a canadian woman on the island that plans weddings... http://www.weddingscayecaulker.com/

Good luck and don't worry about about hurricanes...March is a perfect wedding month!
