Wedding Dress for Beach in Jamaica

Hi -
Wondering if anyone can provide some advice on whether it is worth wearing a layered dress in hot Jamaican weather in February?
Does anyone have experience with this?

I have seen a few dresses I like, the one I like most is a strapless with layered materials at the bottom - it is not poofy, and does not have a long train, but I'm worried I may get overwhelmed by the heat if I do the wedding on the beach.

Maybe a sunset wedding will help, but any feedback from others on their experiences or that from a wedding you've been to, would be appreciated.

I've noticed this is an old post,which has probably gone cold, but I thought I'd answer in case other brides were wondering!

Jamaican sunsets in February is usually quite cool and as beaches are usually quite breezy, a layered dress would be fine However, as it is quite humid here all year round, there is the possibility that you might start to feel uncomfortable after dancing a lot at the reception!!

Anyway, it's February now so I hope you had a fabulous wedding!
