Groom's Linen Attire

Hi everybody! I hope you can help me. This is my second wedding and I chose an above the knee silk and chiffon dress and shoes in ivory for our beach wedding. I will also have an ivory parasol. The wedding will be on the Micronesian island of Guam- so VERY hot like most of your locations! My fiance agreed to wear a linen shirt and pants. In your opinion should his linen be white or should it match me, in ivory?
