HI
We're planning a beach wedding for 2007 and we are looking for an all-inclusive resort with lots of amenties ofr our guests to stay at. We have quite a few couples that have children so Sandals is out. I'm hoping that there may be some other ideas out there. The islands we're interested in are Bahamas, Barbados, Jamaica and St.Lucia, but we're open to any/all ideas.
Thank you K. |

Hi there, we are having our wedding in St Lucia in February 2006. We are staying at Windjammer Landing. If you go to St Lucia do NOT go to Club St Lucia. I have friends who went there and it was horrible.
As for the other islands you mentioned Jamica is probably the cheapest of them. Is there a Breezes in Jamica since they allow children?
As for Bahamas lots of the hotels to not do all inclusive.
Barbados is about $3000.00 per person since we looked into this.
For St Lucia our rate is $2230 from Toronto
If you have any other questions, feel free to email me

| There is a family oriented version of Sandals, it's called Beaches. Same quality as Sandals. We are getting married at Beaches Sandy Bay and then going to Sandals Negril for the honeymoon, but still close enough to do stuff with the guests. You have exchange privileges at Beaches Sandy Bay and Beaches Negril. Let me know. |

| HI there. we are in the same situation. we are having a 2007 beach wedding and have lots of guests that need to be kept busy and kids too. After many hours and days of research we decided on Paradisus Playa Conchal resort in Costa Rica. There is so much to do and it is a 5 star resort. It is also huge and the pool is large, so that if your guests dont want to spend every waken minute with each other, they dont have to. And for the more adventurous types there are so many fun activities to do. You can go to their website. I would also check out travel advisor.com to look up some other resorts. I think those reviews really get you the most information as well as some great photos from tourist. You should also ask your travel agent for a catalog. We have one for Apple Vacations and it lists every single caribbean resort possible and if they are all inclusive and if they allow children. you should look into that. but go to apple vacations.com and check that out as well. good luck, have fun. |
