|
|
Hi,
I am having difficulty in loading pictures. Some of them are uploaded fine, but other times, pictures are "bumped" off if new ones are added, or when I want to delete pictures, they either A) don't delete or B) the wrong one is deleted! HELP! |

Sweety,
Can you give me some more information.
Specifically, where are you adding the new images? Are they added to your galleries? Or are you replacing images to go with your stories?
We're seeing around 30 images uploaded for your site, with a quite a few in the last couple of days, but its difficult to track where they are being added to without further info from you.
Let me know via a Private Message (the PM button below my post) so I can make sure someone looks into it further for you,
Regards

I noticed this, too, Sweety, and here's how it happened:
I uploaded a nice 300x400 pixel jpg file of my husband, not too "heavy" in kilobites.
Right after that I tried to upload one that was "raw", saved from my camera and not edited yet. However that pic was about 1200x1600 or some such outrageously large image, and 'heavy'.
It took a longer time to load, of course, yet it did load, but it bumped off the pic I had loaded just before it.
Admin, you might try a script for force-reformatting the images to a max pixelsize, and kb weight. |

Hi Admin,
I'm having problems deleting photos as well.
I click the delete box then click edit...sometimes it does not delete at all and sometimes it deletes a picture that I do not want to delete. I do not have a problem uploading..just deleting.
There is one spot that shows no picture and there are one or two pictures that I would like to delete, I'm not sure what's happening or not happening.
Please help. |

I'm getting our tech people to look into why this is happening. Thanks for the clarification of the issue.

This is actually already being done on all image uploads. Everything is resized to 2 or three different versions on the fly.
I'll post back here when I have some news.

ReAnn,
This appears to be the same issue as the ReNewlyWeds - we're looking into it and I hope to have good news for you in the next day.
