Hello ladies-
I apologize if a similar question has already been posted, I haven't had a chance to read through all of them yet. I just became engagged almost two weeks ago and my fiance' and I are thinking of a couple locations, particularly the US Virgin Islands becuase it may be easier legally for our guests to travel there. we're aiming for an April 2008 date.
Does anyone have a particular island of the three that they prefer? And do you have any recommendations of contact persons?

Hi Denise!
Have you considered the Spanish Virgin Islands? Those are actually US Virgin Islands that are a part of Puerto Rico, Vieques Island and Culebra Island to be exact.
I got married in a large destination wedding on Vieques Island and found it was considerably easier than going elsewhere in the Caribbean because it required no special paperwork for the marriage license, and nothing more than drivers licenses for guests to travel there. Also, because it's a tiny island with a growing tourism industry, it's considerably less expensive and significantly more charming that the big commercial islands where the cruise ships stop.
