| Hello! I am getting married in November at Breezes runaway bay and im just wondering if any brides out there have any advice on the resort. I prefer to get married on the beach....is Breezes set up where you there is a walkway to the beach the bride can go down?

Congratulations!!!
I also got married at Breezes RB in March of 2008 and it was awesome! We are going back for our anniversary in just 13 days. I'm looking forward to it.
We got married on the beach too, but in hindsite, I think it would have been better from a privacy standpoint to do it in the little beach gazebo chapel. Right on the beach it felt like everyone on the beach was watching our wedding. No necessarily a bad thing... but it was awkward. We however didn't bring a wedding party with us... so it was just the two of us, the hotel witnesses, and the minister.
If you do get married on the beach and have long hair, make sure you have it put up well, the breeze will carry your hair/veil and that doesn't look so great in pictures.
As far as a walkway to the beach. They take you to the far side (closest to FDR resort.. and they walk you down the sidewalk and down the stairs of the new portion of the resort.

| I'm getting married at Breezes Runaway Bay in November, too! I can't wait...I'm so nervous and excited, November seems so far away. Good luck with the planning!!

Hi Ladies,
I spent a weekend at this property and it was abslolutely beautifull, the beach, the gardens ,the rooms everything was good.
Are you having a large wedding? Do you need the wedding to be videographed or photographed? These are some things you may already have considered. Remember that one of the best ways to preserve the memory of your day is to have it professionally videotaped. Check out the listings on islandbrides.com for videography professionals in Jamaica.
